Weather
Due to the unpredictable element of weather, avelanche risk, and wind exposure, the day of the race and the course itself can be edited close to race day. We do this to ensure the safety of the participants and volunteers.
We have A, B and C race courses set, to be able to arrange a race in any conditions on race day.

Safety
By choosing to arrange a skirace in such environments, there is always a risk associated with it. Avalanches and exposed steep terrain is all part of being in the mountains. We provide all the safety measures needed to make a safe race as possible.
We have a designated safety team assessing avalanche risk before and during the race. We also have sertified personell setting up the via ferrata up the west ridge of Kyrkjetaket.
If any questions regarding safety or equipment, do not hesitate to contact us.
